“I really like Main Street Music. The staff is very friendly and helpful and it is a very comfortable and relaxed environment to take music lessons for children or adults. I take lessons with Sandy and love it. She’s very encouraging and she pushes me to improve. She helps me to correct bad playing habits and improve my sound and ability.
I previously took a lesson at the New Windsor School of Music but found their scheduling a bit difficult and inflexible for my circumstances, though the lesson itself was good.  As an adult my schedule changes from time to time and occasionally I need to change my lesson time. Main Street Music is very flexible and easily accommodates my scheduling needs. I really recommend taking lessons here :)”

“The Main Street Music school learning experience is great. At age 66 I came to Fran Rudolph and received conscientious and patient instruction. I always wanted to play the piano and so I finally took the plunge. Frank constantly encourages me to build upon what I learn. I not only am playing my instrument but also learning how to play with other musicians.”

“I have been a student at Main St Music for the past 2 years.  I’ve been taking lessons with Frank Rudolph, and I highly recommend him as a terrific teacher, with a great understanding of all styles of music and of music theory.  He makes complicated music approachable, teaching me shortcuts and fundamentals all at the same time.  The monthly open mike/concert nights afford all Main St Music students the opportunity to play with the teachers in a band format. It is so much fun. I went from being afraid and too shy to do the performance –  to actually looking forward to it!  If you are looking to learn some fun piano – whatever style you are into – Frank Rudolph would be a most wonderful choice as your piano teacher.  By the way – he is a remarkable guitarist and teacher of guitar as well.”

“Frank Rudolph is my teacher, and is patient, encouraging and so easy to work with. Frank is not ever intimidating and always makes me (and all students, I believe) feel valued and supported. I have found Frank knowledgeable not only about Music (of all genres) but pedagogically he is TOPS. He is partient and reassuring. :)”

“My daughter are 16 and 12. They have very different personalities and tastes in music. What I like most about their music lessons is they learn voice and drums and keyboard in a lesson taylor made to their individual styles. Frank and John have created an nice community for their students to learn and share music.”

“These guys are the BEST. EVER.
3 years ago, on a “dare to myself” I took up acoustic guitar. I had never played a chord, ever. I was terrifed of music, scared to death of singing and thought I would never never be able to do this.
I am now officially the “World’s Okayest Guitarist”, and have a tee shirt to prove this!
I love playing with Frank and the Guys, and this is the (second) best thing I have ever done for myself.”
